I'm There For You

I wrote this for a district poetry contest and would like insight on it. :)

And did you even realize I was there for you?

You say you’re alone and no one loves you.

I guess that makes me no one.

So go ahead, think you’re alone and no one cares.

I’ll still be there.

Push everyone away…

And I’ll tell you it’s okay.

Even if you give up and try to let go.

I’m still here to pull you back up, and tell you;

I love you
