AnotherA Poem by Tali Ring
A loud noise breaks the dead silence
A sharp cry rings out A button is pushed and silence presumes But movement fights its way through the resting bones PAIN Not of the body But of the heart and mind An unbroken, yet unfixable heart beats for another day Longing and yearning for For what It can't be said How long has it been Forever is the feeling Infinity is another word Another useless day the heart beats for For what One day it will be known Not today The once pure heart now beats unevenly for another day The damaged heart names no blame The problem goes unspoken Most likely drown out by loneliness The heart beats for another day of a wasted life But for how much longer Hopeless is the feeling Dead is another word © 2013 Tali RingReviews
