With ardour in thy flavour

With ardour in thy flavour

A Poem by Talen Robert M. Sangma

With ardour in thy flavour:

Like the volcano in great emergence

Springs yourself up the real confidence

That is within you, with no more fear

Unveil your shell to travel far or near.

Stay no more as chicken out

Losing faith degrading, living in doubt

But arise with the rhythm of the heart

With the best art you may impart.

Like the tree branches that gently sway

Stooping in silence to the windy and stay,

Remain firm to the rage and dance up a storm

Believing in self, flowing with the norm.

Like the ploughing bulls that swink and derve

Though sloughed by the savage, himself with no verve.

Deserting the knouting, propelling with endeavour

Towards the dream with ardour in thy flavour.
