My Golden HomeA Poem by Talen Robert M. SangmaThe poem speaks of Savio Juniorate/school, where 50 years later, all past pupils with grateful heart gather recalling & sharing the wonderful things they learned for their life.
My Golden Home:
Juniorate my golden home, a nurturing place From you, abundant grace Thou art a maker and a sharpener, A guiding light to a dreamer Unfolds thy mission to an honest lover. Rising till bed sprays thy wisdom,Saturates thy bliss to my insatiate soul By your forestall keeps me from gall Thy goldenfold charity extinguishes color war Enhances oneness to diffuse near and far Escorts an avid heart to reach the star. Gaily congregate to recall and praise thy nameGolden later: Ah! Minj as though a mirage Where art thou now, writing thy page? Among the least, communion with sage. Oh Thyrniang! The garden fire, Shush! By mistake, but look a mighty pine tree Beside the grotto standing by you and me. The three grounds we cut, my blister! In concert my trumpet extra note “Cool head, empty stomach, warm feet” Reading, shouting, jumping, the contests and Forgetting the most. What? The Bible A wonderful indeed, excellent. © 2017 Talen Robert M. Sangma |
