In woods of blissA Poem by Anthony M. RomanIn the woods of light and bliss, All of trees laughed in remiss At one wolf wounded and sick Snarling, howling, all in crick. While the willow by the lake, Deep within, harbored a snake All too wise and further, cold Only Gods should know how old. And the wolf came to the serpent, And his head bound by his weight, Cursed by hiss and venom Wolf lay down, wounded and dead.
