If By Chance

If By Chance

A Poem by Tala Cheyenne

If by chance
I kiss the rain
And whisper into the air
Pay no mind to me
Its only me talking
Talking to the wind
Unheard prayers
Ascending to the Heavens
To Her gentle, listening ear
She, who will take the pain and sorrow
The emptiness
Away
If by chance
I splash in a puddle
Don't mind me
I'm only dancing with Her
If by chance
You walk by and see me
Crying
Don't worry
I'm only sharing what's inside
With Her
And being held in Her comforting embrace
And if by chance
I pass you on the street
And you happen to look into my eyes
Pay no mind
Its only me
Day dreaming
Of all that will be

Very well written and I love the message it has. I love the lines:
"I splash in a puddle
Don't mind me
I'm only dancing with Her"
Nicely done.
