Vicious Cycle

Vicious Cycle

A Poem by Tala Cheyenne

Split second decisions
Cause and effect
Act and react
Verbalize
Immature
Apologize, no more
Attack and be attacked
Cycles of life
Don't realize what you've done
Do you...
Open the floodgates
Prepare for the Flood
The Huntress on the prowl
Redemption, Revenge, Justice
Seeking
Grown weary of caring
Of being thrown upon a cross
Crucified for the sake of another
The scapegoat
Turned Alpha
Watch behind
Look forward
Teeth and claws
Snarling, growling
Done wrong
Black heart
Scarred Darker
Vicious Cycle
We call Life.

Nice job!
I bow down to you, so low that my head scrapes the floor.
The imagery is perfect, the symbolism divine.
Great job! This is possibly my favourite poem.
