Thought #3 - Thinking For Yourself is Harder

Thought #3 - Thinking For Yourself is Harder

A Chapter by Taku

How come I have to sit through classes that I don't care for? I listen to teachers who tell me things that I will never use. I do hate the mindlessness in our classrooms.

It seems like we, as the youth, accept this state of uniformity as our daily normal. It seems to me like complacency runs rampant in the ambitions of my peers. I cannot bring myself to understand why someone would not subscribe to self-thought and choose group thinking instead.

I suppose that thinking individually is harder in the sense of self-criticism. You have to think through your bad and good thoughts yourself and decide what they say about your current state rather than having some teacher or social figure tell you who you are.
