I am yours

I am yours

A Poem by Macey Royster

Hold me in your darkness.
Envelop me in your nature.
Take this fire and twist my reality.
My life is yours. I obey your will.
Remove these shackles, I will always bow.
I am yours to control.
The water so deep, downing my mind.
Making my will to breath obsolete.
Deeper, darker.
A well full of broken souls, dragging me deeper.
Busting backwards into a world not my own.
My soul left behind to suffer in the well of tears.
The wind, blowing through my hair.
A short howl to call me forth.
Following blindly into the depths of the darkness.
The road be short.
Another howl.
A beast emerges from the woods.
Swiftly carries my body away.
The earth, dirt so soft.
Cool to my skin.
My life depleted.
This dark beautiful beast covering my body.
Dirt so soft, reality slipping.
Bury me alive.
Make me your minion.
I am yours to control.

Very nice flow of thoughts leading to the very good closing.
"Bury me alive.
Make me your minion.
I am yours to control."
Good to know freedom and trust. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
