Tears Still Fall

Tears Still Fall

A Poem by Josephine

His eyes bore into hers

He could see into her soul

He had made her this way

the scared girl he said he loved

He broke her down

He was like a drug, he made her addicted to his love

She needed him

"without me you're nothing" he would whisper into her ear

Now she lays here,

a broken soul without tears.

the stone reads

"RIP Serena, may your soul find peace"

but how can it when he stripped away everything she had?

she loved him till her death

she gave him everything she could

she didnt see how it was hurting her

she just wanted those three words

now he lays in bed with another girl

she watches from the stars, tears fall with the snow

she gave him everything

now he kisses another

was everthing she gave meaningless?

Even in death, tears can still fall.

A haunting tale of love and sadness. The story was very strong. So many powerful lines. Love will sent us to heaven and can sent us to hell also. No weakness in this poem. You create a vision of a sad and disappointed heart. A excellent poem.
