They will not stop.A Poem by ghostprowllerBlegh, this is something that I wrote whilst hearing an argument.
They will still continue on.
After the torches light is gone. After the dying gasps for breath. After their beliefs fallen crest. They will still march forward. Through the drudge and mud onward Through the arrows rotted teeth Through natures forgotten beast. They will still blindly advance. As if in some dreamy trance. As if they're near the land they seek, As if they're close to holding peace. They will still fight their loved ones. And ignore the screams from them And ignore the sacred ties And ignore the blood red wine. They will still refuse to stop. Almost spinning their last top Almost reaching insanity Almost remembering mercy. They will still never listen. Because their warblades glisten Because their armor's cracked Because they can't turn back. They will still turn a blind eye. To the victims constant cries To the ones lost on the road To those who loved them so Yet, still, they believe they're right. They're shining in righteous light They're the justice in this world They're unopposed, and unfurled But they will not hear the truth. They will not accept their youth. They will not accept their faith. They will not accept the scathe. © 2015 ghostprowllerAuthor's Note
