Nothing To See Here.

Nothing To See Here.

A Poem by UnholyFate
"

Short lines for big feelings.

"
I should know more,
More than anyone that
This can only cause despair.

The sea in your eyes, searching..
Searching me for answers I won’t give.
I hide away in my blanket,
Wrap it around me
Like monsters are none the wiser.

But they peak through the cracks, and you
See only my terror.
But monsters aren’t real,
And I won’t describe them to you.

Monsters indeed. Yes, quite often it is that experience we cannot hand to another. They have to cross over, they have to live it. Not just with monsters but with love and everything in between. Cant do it for them and often times that is the divisive factor that makes us different than them. Also the "knowing more than anyone" leading to despair is a great concept.

Wow! I wonder hiding monsters within us can help or destroy a relationship if it not based on honesty, trust and clarity?
This poem has truly big feelings.

the monsters inside of us are often something we cannot describe....and if others don't understand without the explanation, then we can only hide from the monsters and those who do not understand.
