To Think

To Think

A Poem by UnholyFate

And to think that here
Is where I wanted to be
I know not where I belong
Don't look at me, leave.

I'm afraid to speak
Don't search my eyes
I throw it all away
Again, and again, and again.

But I'm alone all the time.
To think that this,
That this is who I am
I told the room to disappear.

Eyes glued shut
Where are all the people
I dream of?
To think that this..

Hollow am I, it is
Just the way I hurt myself
Wild and restrained
That this is what I wanted

the people left, but the room didn't....I am the room, the empty one....vacant lives
don't want to turn on the light and see themselves.
excellent piece.

alone isn't always lonely, but lonely is always alone. some walk their wild side... a few even live it. Some survive it.

Self loathing and loneliness are a bad combination. Depression can't be far off. Indeed, it might already have arrived.

Solitude. The one thing we want and the one thing that hurts us most. A beautiful portrayal.
