Journey

Journey

A Poem by UnholyFate
"

Living with Bipolar disorder

"
Took a walk through the fog
On the mirror, complacent
With insanity,
Knowing not that every step
Cracked the glass behind me.
A girl wearing my face
But with a hand much colder
Spoke to me inanimately.
She cut my mind in two
And took half of it.

For years, we fought for sovereignty.
But when the fog dissipated,
We were one.

This is very surreal, and considering the subject, fitting.

Great way of tackling bi-polar disorder.

It's fascinating and horrifying.

"She cut my mind in two
And took half of it"

Love those lines.

For some reason I wanted to say "ate half of it" but maybe that's a bit much lol

Good stuff
