FriendA Poem by u+2235 TaintedPeaceSign u+2235
I'm so content,
Yet lost and lonely, So sad and desperate, Wanting someone to hold me. To hold me gently, To hold me near, To tuck that stray piece of hair, Behind my ear. To kiss my cheek, Then tell me stories, While being snug and comfy, The only noise is the engine and your keys. The clink they make as they hit, As they grunt and groan, As they fight and throw punches, As they complain and moan. But in a few seconds it will stop, The quips of chatter amongst them, Will cease to be heard, But my fingers will hesitate near your jacket hem. As I pucker my lips and lean forward, So close yet so far I want more but I shake in fear it seems, I finally muster the courage and lean all the way, But just then I awaken from my dreams. © 2013 u+2235 TaintedPeaceSign u+2235Author's Note
