Marilyn Lendiman

Marilyn Lendiman

A Poem by Tails Turrosaki
"

A story of a grown woman and her desire to kill.

"
"Marilyn,
Oh Marilyn,
How pretty your eyes are,"
Says a man in a dim lit room.

"Thank you, Jonathan. I've loved you so long.
Oh, how I do wish we could marry, Jonathan.
Oh, Jonathan... Jonathan..."
She was ever so lovely.

Her voice trailed off in a sense of distrust,
For lurking in the shadows was a beast making a fuss.
Would she tell him of this thing,
Or leave him to die?

"Jonathan, oh Jonathan,
A monster appears behind you!"
Her eyes widened with fear,
And with temptation.

"A monster of what?
My love for you or love for me?
I dare not look behind me
For my eyes would be off you!"

"But Jonathan, a beast!
A beast twice your size!
It may just eat you!
I fear for your life!"

"I shall only look behind me once
Just to prove you wrong, my dear.
However, I do not appreciate you bluffing
Right into my ears." He turned around.

He faced the darkness.
"Dearest Marilyn, I told you there was not.
You bluff, you do.
I'd appreciate if you were to not."

As he turned back around,
He felt a thrust in his face.
Blood trickling down his cheeks,
Rolling to his chin.

"Jonathan, oh Jonathan,
I love you so much.
My love for you is so strong,
I could kill you with all my lust."

"But Marilyn, but Marilyn!
Why must you do so to me!?
If you were truly my lover,
You'd leave me to live and be!"

"Jonathan, oh Jonathan,
I dare not do so.
You are wonderful, ever so wonderful.
I love you with the power of a million suns."

"But Marilyn my dearest!
You have stabbed me with that knife of yours!
I shall die,
And you shan't ever speak to me again!"

"But love is more than speaking, my love.
There is much pain in relationships as well.
And I know of your secret,
That you, too, have killed once before."

"But madame, it was an accident!
I haven't much more time to tell!
You lodged your knife into my face,
Yet not so deep to kill me quick!"

"I like it rather slow, Jonathan dear.
Too fast would kill the fun.
Would you not like to spend your last minutes with me?
Jonathan, oh Jonathan, you dare lie to me of your love?"

"You're right! I do not love you!
You are a crazy witch, I say!
How dare you stab me,
Jonathan Assurey!"

"You speak against your love, do you!?
I shall show you, you merciless prick!
Your death will flood
With a tsunami of blood!"

And so she dug the knife deeper,
As blood and brains seeped out.
She cut the cranium off,
Pulling the brain out.

"Jonathan, you b*****d!
How dare you not love me!
How dare you speak against me!"
Blood splattered upon her cheeks.

She grabbed hold of her gun,
And a loud gunshot was heard,
Piercing him in the heart.
And you could bet the neighbors ears were hurt.

"Rot in Hell,
You filthy beast.
I shall never love again."
Tears poured from her eyes.

They reached the floor,
Seeping beneath the wood.
How stained the room was.
Oh, how messy it was.

And that is Marilyn Lendiman.
A woman with power,
And a painful way of love.
A love that drives her mad.

But Marilyn Lendiman, they say,
Still roams the Earth today.
Lover after lover, she kills,
And will always promise to never love again.

But what stumps all of us
Is whether or not she loved him enough to kill,
Or did she only love him in aim to kill?

I couldn't make it seem right in many stanzas, so I apologize. It's also a bit repetitive... Please go easy...
