Crimson Moon

Crimson Moon

A Poem by Tai-San

A Vampiress Poem
The innocent yet devilish smile,
That smiles through the night,
Watching its prey, stalking it,
Until it pounces on it.

Blood red nail polish glistens in the moonlight
As she smiles that same grin at her prey.
Oblivious to the danger, he follows,
Right into her trap.

A kiss and he’s hers,
And she smiles as he follows her to the ends of the earth.
She disappears into the shadows of the earth.
All he remembers is that smile.

That innocent yet devilish smile,
The smile of something not from here,
A creature of the night.
The smile of a once innocent woman.
The smile of his wife,
Who has long been deceased.
A hunting memory that never fades away.
