Avatar: The Last Air bender Fanfic By: The Midnight countess

                        Avatar: The Last Air Bender is the second show, next to Fruits Basket that I hold dearly. After watching Sozins’ Comet Parts 1-4(I think…right?) I realized that they did the worst thing to me. (Weirdly, the Fruits Basket anime did the same thing…haters!) They left at a point where Zukko didn’t know what ever happened to his mother. I also remember my younger cousin, Kendyl (who I conveniently call Ken) saying that Sozins’ Comet was the last Avatar episode. EVER! Well, of course I started freaking out. The last episode? No! It couldn’t be!

                     Well, even though it was over the summer, I was still flipping out, come the start school. So, after watching Sozins’ Comet just an hour ago, I decided to write an Avatar fan fiction, all dedicated to Zukko trying to find his mother. I did find out that one of my friends fancies Avatar, so I hope that the person will criticize me. (Hint: this person is one of the two people who know why people call me The Midnight Countess…) In my defense, I know I am not that good at writing fan fictions. So, this is just a taste. Not the whole thingie!

                For those…um…losers who don’t know anything about Avatar, (sorry…you aren’t losers…lol!) I shall tell you about it! Now…listen!

               The beginning is simple. Well, I’ll put what is in the beginning. It’s Katara explaining.

                 “Water. Fire. Earth. Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years have passed and my brother and I have discovered the new Avatar. An Air bender named Aang. And, although his air bending skills are great, he still has a lot to learn before he’s ready to save anyone. But I believe, Aang can save the world.”

              There are awesome characters. Mine favorite are Mai, Tai-Li, Zukko(super HOT!) Haru (also hot, though u don’t see him in here), Jet (…hot. But…wont see him here. I think the Dai-Li leader killed him. Hey, idk. Toph said the guy was lying when he said Jet would be fine…), Toph (a blind Earth bender. Idk why she ran away. She was filthy rich! Though, money cant buy Luffles!), and…against my greater desire, Azula is awesome too…

              Ko. Enjoy my horrid Fanfic and leave me to my vampires and death and…all the other things I find in my happy place! (oh, and just incase one would like to argue, Avatar may be Chinese, but it is still an anime. And, If you disagree, message me and we will have a clean argument about it! Because I will always argue for something or someone I Luffles! <3 <3 <3 <3!)

 

 

 

 

 

 

What Happened To Zukkos’ Mother?

        “Something wrong?” Aang, the avatar asked. He sat on the right hand of the Fire Lord, Lord Zukko.

               It was two weeks after Aang had defeated Former Phoenix King Ozai and Zukko had fought almost Fire Lord Azula. But bow, both were in prison. Aang had Katara, Zukko had Mai, and Sakka, Kataras’ brother, had Sukki.

           “I just wish Father would tell me where Mother was,” the King sighed. “I never found out.”

          “How about you start a search team?” Toph offered. “My mom and dad did that after I went with Aang.”

          Toph was an Earth Bender whose parents sent someone to capture Aang   after Toph had run away.

          “But…your parents knew who you were with,” Zukko said. “And besides, the world is so big. Too big to send a whole squad after. I don’t even know what she looks like.”

          “Maybe…Azula knows,” Mai hinted, putting force on Azulas’ name.

           “Do you think?” Zukko asked, noticing that the question that was meant for him had actually come out.

              “She said she did,” Mai replied. “I mean, said that she knew what happened to your mother. But…nothing else.”

               Mai stood up and took Katara, Sukki, and Toph, looking at the ground, leaving behind Lord Zukko, Aang, and Sakka (“man with sword!”).

              “I’m going to see what Azula knows,” Zukko said. He stood up and went down to the dungeons.

               As he walked, he passed where his father was kept.

             “Have you changed your mind?” Ozai asked. “Will you let me out? That stupid Avatar has my powers. I can’t do anything.”

            “No. I wont let you out,” Zukko said. Then, before Ozai could do anything more, Zukko hurried on to where his now sober sister, Azula, was.

            “I knew you couldn’t stay away from me, Brother,” she said. Azula smiled.

          “What happened to my Mother?” Zukko asked. Azula could tell Zukko wasn’t going to argue.

             “Your so persistent. Fine, Brother. Fine. I’ll tell you what happened to her.” Azula crept to the bars and, once again, smiled.

             “She's dead.”

 

              Okay, write me on how bad this is! <3

This is a nice fanfic. I haven't seen the series/anime (yes, I agree with you that it's an anime), but I have seen the movie. So far, I agree with Daiku Maryu there. Please put in more description of the character emotions!!!

You misspelt the names: ;_; It's "Zuko" (one "k"), Suki (again one "k"), Sokka ("o" not "a") and Ty Lee.

Other than that it needs to be more descriptive: what do the characters feel? What are they doing? Drop the whole introduction thing: people who hadn't watch AtLA won't read a fanfic about it and those who had don't need to be reminded. Also, if anybody is curious why you wrote it, they'll ask you. If you leave all those reasons, it looks like you're appologizing for writing the story. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't like creating such an impression.

I mean, this piece has the potential to be gripping and full of emotions. It's Zuko worrying about his beloved parent. Sokka and Katara will symphatised, having lost a mother, won't they? And than BAM! Azula says Ursa is dead. Just think about all the things you could add to make this a great piece! It's all there waiting to be brought out to the surface!
