Not Coming Out Again

Not Coming Out Again

A Poem by Tai-San

Not Coming Out Again
I am hiding and not coming out.
Not for night,
Or a freight.
Not for books,
Or the looks.
No more music,
Or to be realistic,
Not coming to see the color red,
Because I will see it when I’m dead.
In my room I will not be,
Nor in the highest tree.
I will not go to the graveyard at night,
Or protect myself or anyone from a fight.
I will not come out of hiding.
Not for friends,
Not to tie loose ends.
I will not come out for the family,
Because they annoy me so.
My life is screwed over,
And in the sights, no four leaf clovers.
I’m afraid of what things are,
What's meant to be.
And then I see me.
Me for who I am.
A dark girl,
Evil thoughts galore.
And gore.
Ugliness,
Inside and out.
No one speak,
For I am hiding in an unknown spot,
And never, ever coming out.
