Where Was I

Where Was I

A Poem by Tai-San
"

My best friend passed two years ago by a drunk driver. I was supposed to be at her house, but i had summer school. this is about how i feel and how, at the last minute, she felt. it's extremely short......

"

Where was I when the sun rose?
Where was I? Nobody knows.
Where was I when the sun died?
I was waiting on the other side.

It was a good poem. Very short, but very effective. I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

short but, very effective. I admire this style very much. An excellent expression of deep emotion in few but, very potent expresions.

it is okay that it is short. The important thing is the feeling and the content in your poetry. In this, I could feel your sadness and hurt. I can't imagine myself if I am going to lose a friend. Good read though! Keep up the good work! :)
