A Mummies Girl

A Mummies Girl

A Poem by Tai Chi Italy
"

To commemorate the first aniversary of losing my dear mum...19th February 2009. Always missed, never apart. x

"

Brushing off all their negativity

she goes forth

she makes a cup of tea...with honey

...to put Daffodils on her mummies grave...

She loves her mummy

and her mummy knows

her eldest daughter

will stand up

to 'their' metaphorical slaughter.

Because she is kind,

and loving, and brave.

Messed around with the format. Kind of goes with the child like feel to writing this tribute to loving my Mum. Interested in your thoughts, so please don't hesitate. This is first draft, just something that I needed to get down.

the metaphorical slaughter causes me puase.....I'll have to consider this one for awhile. strange that five minutes ago, I wrote the line; It hurts some days.....cosmic forces at play?

This is darkness. I don't know why so many love to write about it but - I know, you did great, I mean, not many are able to create a sequence of images in reader's head and I was not scared to stand on your eyelids and your hair in my hair.
