Beauty Passed On....

Beauty Passed On....

A Poem by Tai Chi Italy
"

For Kim, 16, may you fulfill all your dreams....with much love from Mum x

"

His father may not have been here to guide him

But what he passed on is surely worth his heavenly weight in pure gold.

Beautiful in features, heart and soul. All he needs to get him through

And go far far beyond what his parents ever did or will do.

His A levels then his University Degree. Proving beyond all doubt

That what his father passed on was of the purest pedigree.

Love love love is all our children need.

He may not have been here

But she feels sure that on this, with his wife

He would most certainly agree.

Now I understand.. It is the story about the son who lost his father. Written by the ORIGINAL WOMAN, as I have spoken in my recent poem - She is unknown.

His A levels! You must be a wonderful mother. (I always wanted; isn't all about love?) ha! I wrote this sentence. Then I read the next line " Love love love is all our children need. You are so wise. I love you. You created a bridge of words...in his memory. He knows. I loved this. I missed your aggressive creativity! I missed your wit and your humor. Who says that Americans create humor by occasion? You are the second person I think, they inherited humor - loved your last review.

You're back! Haven't been on in donkey's myself and thought I'd look up my friends on here.

This piece is terrific - really heartwarming and almost understated, while the depth of what you are saying hits home really strongly - great stuff ;)

Beautifully written Tai, your son has a really big thing helping him, he has a magnificent mother. He'll go far, no worries, he's a good kid. I've got confidence in him from the many times you have talked about him. Wonderful poem for your son. Hope to meet him someday :)

It's always a parents wish for their children to have more than they ever did. I love how this poem looks at the beauty a father had left behind in the image of his child instead of focusing on the pain and sorrow of his passing. Sounds like he left an amazing gift to share with this world. Great piece.
