A Girls Got To Do

Its a life habit thing. If we do our best, no one, especially ourselves, can ask for more imho

 

What her, ‘Girl Guide’ heart,

Promised she would do.

To do her best; to do her duty

to God.  To serve the queen;

to help other people; and to

keep the guide law.

 

She has to do her best,

or fail her life long,

Girl Guide Test.

Author's Note

Not sure what age group this would appeal to, its a little simple (child-like) and maybe it was written that way, from the child's perspective, as the writer experienced it. (10/11 years old) I would be interested to hear other writers views

I disagree. I think while something that looks simple on the surface can carry a deeper meaning.
