Haha. Amazing poem dude. Its about time someone stands up against the horrible monstrosity that is Twilight.
I don't like the Harry Potter series much either, but there's no comparison between HP and You Know What!
"I'd much rather leave America,
than stay in Forks
and choose beastiallity or necrophilia."
I don't know what to say. I'm rolling on the floor laughing!
I don't think the rhyme or the rhythm matters here. The subject matter demands the poem to be awkward, I guess. This poem had me in splits from the first stanza.
I, for one, loved the Twilight series (books) and
movie(s) too, if seen with my honey ~ cause all that snuggling
and feeding each other popcorn was better than the movie...
Harry Potter, only seen one of the movies complete, never read
the books; but I'd rather be a Witch than a vampire/werewolf
any day. I got a giggle out of this write.
hahaa!! this is pretty awesome!! lol, i like the last stanza and how you wrapped it all up:
"So obviously you see,
at least when it comes to me,
there's no comparison between Edward and Harry."
lol and..."I'd much rather wear a cloak
That makes me shadowy as the night,
Than glow when the sun hits me, like some
fairy made of light."
haha Edward Cullen isn't a vampire, he's a fairy:)P lol, this was pretty awesome i must say!! :) awesome!
There really is no comparison. I rather enjoyed the part of when it said, "...choose bestiality or necrophilia." because it's very true. Jacob, a werewolf, and Edward, a practically dead person. If it were up to me, I'd rather be Harry Potter. :) Very humorous and fun to read. Keep it up!
Ahhhh this is great, I adore harry potter! hahah I'll admit, I was a nerdy little kid who sat in her room all day reading fantasy books. Twilight is a terrible piece of s**t when compared to the Harry Potter series for sure. I still wish I could be a wizard T_T
Anyways, I love how you compared the two. The last two stanzas were great, very funny. :)
This really made me laugh ^^ Whilst I didn't actually mind reading Twilight, I agree the idea behind it was awful, and it wasn't all that well written either. But then, I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan either, with the exception of the last book... Comparing the authors themselves though, JK wins hands down.
"I'd much rather fly a broomstick,
Much rather go to Charms,
Than end up somehow in a cannibals arms."
I didn't understand straight away that it was about Twilight vs Harry Potter actually aha but I think that was just me having a blonde moment ^^ but after that first part, the rest was just hilarious. Brilliant poem :)

This is so funny, I love it
I'm not a big fan of either books but that was a great poem
I knew it had to do with Harry Potter and Twilight. It was so clear! I love this writing. I would love to be in Harry's world too. To me it's more fasinating and adventurous. I just love it!
