there's times I ever cross your mind

Or if you've thought

Someday it will all catch up to you

Whether you like it or not

Well I agree.

There's now way to start it up again

Get over the way you hate me.

It's clear that we're all done

It's too much of you to ask of me

Just wait and see...

There's quite a bit of anger in here but I see it more as emotional hurt than anything destructive or vindictive. The reprtition of 'no way to start it up again' rings a little like a phrase that's been said to you and you're repeating it like a mantra in order to hold back feelings or cling to false hope. I liked this a lot.

I believe this is the first "angry" poem I'm reading from you. You have channeled your anger into something very creative here, unlike what many others do. There are plenty of beautiful lines in this poem, and I believe quoting them would be futile, as I liked the whole poem. By the way, I listened to the song on your myspace page. It is really good. The way this poem flows, the way you release your emotions, slowly, but surely, and the heart rending way with which you recall past memories all combine to give this poem a very relatable feel. Amazing.
