Darkness, its the first thing i remember. It was dark, it was cold and i was scared. Then i saw the moon, it was so big and so bright. It seem to chase the darkness away and when it did I wasn't scared anymore. How I ended up here or what i did to end up here, that i never know and a part of me wonders if i ever will...
*Jacks P.O.V*
"Jackson...JACKSON!" a women yelled." JACKSON OVERLAND GET DOWN HERE!"
Every sunrise, my mother wakes me up so early in the morning just to help out my father and work with him at his tailor shop. It's been the same routine for me these past 8 years but there's always something that keeps me coming to the shop. When girls come and try on the dresses, I tend to go out with them since I'm "Kenchuwas Frost". You probally don't know what that is, but he's the boy that girls fall in love with at first sight which bothers me since all were the same. But Marissa wasn't, this time I fell in love with her and she did as well later on, we thought we be happy forever but we were wrong and I was wrong about her.
"Hey J-J-Jackson," a shy voice called."Oh hey Marissa!" I winked."Sorry, am I bothering you?" she looked to the floors."No, your not." I said.
*Marissa P.O.V*
I stared at the stone floor then to Jackson brown eyes that made my heart beat fast and worryness through my mind.
"So whats wrong?" Jackson scratched his neck while sewing a brown quilt.
Somehow I was afraid of thinking that this will change our life forever. Tears started coming from my eyes and Jackson ran to me and placed his arms around me tightly.
"Marissa, Marissa...Whats wrong, did someone hurt you?" his eyes widened with worry.
I tightly grasped his shirt weeping "I'm gonna be betrothed to Luther Quiver III tonight Jackson!".
"How long have you known your betrothed?" he tightened his grip to my shoulders."Let me talk to your father, I can try to convince him to call off the betrothed?"
"SInce yesterday, my papa told me the wedding is tonight." I looked into his eyes." I wanna be with Jackson, I-I-I LOVE YOU!".
*Jacks P.O.V*
My life was destroyed when I heard that Marissa was betrothed because then I won't be able to see her anymore without her husbands permission. Then everything went silence when she told me that she loved me. I was leaning to kiss her until a loud THUD and we both turned and her father barged in.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!" he grabbed Marissa's arm "What are you doing with this.....tailor," he said disgusted. "Your groom awaits you at the house!"
Marissa shook her fathers hand off her arm and ran behind me "Don't let him take me away Jackson!" she cried.
I laid my arm in front of her saying to her father "Please don't force her to do this, let me marry her I'll-"."SILENCE! I have spoken, a tailor and a butchers daughter can never be, come Marissa....NOW!" he yelled with all his might.
Just when he called Marissa, I took her hand and pulled her by my side. Her father turned and grunted "I had enough boy, I'll teach you a lesson for disobeying me!" He grabbed my hair and tried to drag me outside and Marissa was trying to take his hands off my. But he slapped her across her face and threw her towards empty barrels. I yelled "ARGHH MARISSA!" I try to free myself until I felt pain in my stomach and started coughing out blood then everything went black. My last thought was Marissa was gone forever...

So yea that's the prologue and if your wondering wheres the reader parts well their coming really soon. I'm just showing what happen to Jack that made him feel this way or it wouldn't make sense and yall be confused so hope you liked it so far and i'll be posting chapters everyday like 2-4 a day.
