The future scares me.

The future scares me.

A Poem by TabbyLeeT

Can we try again?
Start over?
Completely new
I long for you

Your warm embraces
your silly smiles
your laugh

I can say anything
but you
you only laugh
"I love you"
with a kiss

That's what I miss
we can have a re-do
I could be good for you

Chase me through the park
hug me and laugh
all over again

I messed up
it's out
no taking it back now
I love you
and I still miss you

I look back and I see yesterday
I can't move forward
can't breath
please come stay
stay here with me
because a future without you terrifies me.

This is a great poem Tabitha. You did a fantastic job with this one. I can feel the emotions and energy that you put into this writing. Continue to dig deeper into your self, and I think you will see a great improvement. :). I enjoyed reading this poem. I have found though that when it comes to first love that you don't always get second chances.
