Sound Of Silence

Sound Of Silence

A Poem by Chris

Remember the sound of silence
When noise drips into your ears
Softly sweetly flowing
Suddenly turning into a flood

Remember the quiet days
Walking in the woods all alone
Not a bird would chirp
Not a leaf would rustle
But the sun would still shine just the same

Remember the sound of your thoughts
When all you can hear
Is the cry of silver tongues
And men made out of gold

Please remember the sound of silence
When life becomes too loud
Only in soundlessness
Are you ever truly free.

Thank you, the support means a lot.
True, every word expresses the joy being in solitude and absolute silence. I really liked this.
