Escaped Rage

Escaped Rage

A Poem by Tabby Schaechterle

The rage inside
Spills out in tears
I run and hide
Facing my fears

The arguments hear and there
Over nothing special
Becoming difficult to bare
It emotionally broke my shell

Arguments over tiny, stupid things
Deep down make me mad
Nothing worth pulling the strings
Making each other sad

Over time
Our wounds will heal
Leaving our love in its prime
Showing our feelings are real

A bump in the road
To show together we can pull through
Our love never slowed
And we never said adieu
