functions passed all adequate tests and examinations today. Significant
improvement than last time. The cogs in the upper level ventilator are running
smoothly. The viscous oil did the trick. The animatronic A-41B mentioned that
in the beginning. Just learned the crew has taken to calling it Donny. Donny.
Silly name for a robot with a metal face and no heartbeat. Engine room 6 on the lower reactor
level has been acting up. The salvaged parts from the broken ships haven’t been
doing it any good. Can’t get a good gear mold in this city. Sanctum. Sanctuary
for all but the mechanics. I’ll have to melt down the metal to create my own
gears to reduce the stress on the torque gauge. If that thing snaps half of the
city might fall to the earth below. On a lighter note the hydraulic
component, made up of copper pipes and brass bolts salvaged from ships that
barely made it to the ports, is functioning, no problems. A-41B even commented,
“This seems like a highly unsafe collective of apparatuses.” But she’s working
like a charm. Need to keep an eye on the valves though; they might need a new
alloy component. The wife is making steak tonight.
Where she managed to get steak, I’ve no idea. The woman is resourceful.
