Night WorksA Poem by Barbara JohnsonNot just in the day you can observe beauty and uniqueness, but you can also observe beauty and uniqueness at night.
With the earth now darkened,
there is a hush dripping so tranquil like a sensitive soft-sung psalm. I can hear the yielding sound of the stream without a present or past. Delightful jewels partaking of the moonshine of serenity which brings about unique tenderness to the death of day and the birth of night. Precious lights leaving a lavish path of glitter that assemble across the black, sanguine sky to inspire, influence, captivate, and grab firmly. Deep in the depths of the quiet heavens a grand stir of stillness, an ample, affectionate encounter which thoroughly grips my entire vision, as I shiver with sureness of what's beyond. Oh what mystery and wonder of existence.
