Open to AttackA Poem by Barbara JohnsonIt shows how even nature suffers from harsh weather
The woods judder today!
There is substantial sadness; in which, nature is undergoing stern smacks Wildlife! Plant life! Dazed in a dull gray grievance confirmed by the sun's abandonment. Adamant ire in the gray, thick, and shapeless rain clouds; when all at once! Luckless trees are dealing with oppressive downpour; and nearby, sodden ground is useless. The cold pulls through the piercing rampant winds, when huge strips of bark are unsympathetically peeled off vibrant trees slashing the tender heartwood. The thunderous rumbles are indeed an intimidating intrusion; along with persistent, potent bolts of lightning. The day was a pleading for this marked anger to come to a sudden stop, therefore, creation is simply seeking relief.
