Hitler

Hitler

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

Hitler......
Nazi leader
mean machine
snuffed kid's dreams
murdered mothers
stiffing grandmas
tortured grandpas
gas dads

freezing nights
stench
shave heights
rock beds 20 a head
ice showers
random shots
shocking fence

soldiers persuaded
death elevated
separated kin
warehouse
butcher
stolen fortune
Calvary
Holocaust cries

Me having read your poem on slavery of African people, here you show that tragedies are tragedies, and we shall remember all dead with sadness in our hearts, and fight injustice wherever it is found.

WELL DONE!

Pretty much left a mark on history just like slavery did. thanks for the kind review
powerful piece....When I consider all the crimes against humanity...that were/are government created and or endorsed...
it grieves my spirit...I pray that I never meet anyone in person who agreed/agrees...
how do we let it go down?

love poetry since it has been embedded in my mind deeply way back when I was 4 years old. A very good reader in pre-school. Nursery rhymes tuned me in even deeper. more..
