Winds of Winter's Harvest

Winds of Winter's Harvest

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

Winter winds vacations
chasing acres
wooing loud & proud
those howling winds
winter's weary friend
sporting cold part bold
enough to froze
biting thin that awful wind
reddens cheeks picture cold feet
zero below river's temp
dew lawns freezes overnight
first frost here
hand pick farm greens
for winter's harvest.

love poetry since it has been embedded in my mind deeply way back when I was 4 years old. A very good reader in pre-school. Nursery rhymes tuned me in even deeper. more..
