I wasn't sure what came ashore tattered and torn but still holding on was a piece of paper written to who knows who In plain text someone sent a letter of love missing their beloved mentioning labor of love fit like a glove there is no need to shove for true love swarms in like a turtle dove calling from above. This love wants to meet in the center street
Think I put it aside, let air dry my new found love letter floated to me from out there yonder, that great big old sea. how that letter smelled fishy
Beautiful! Surpassing all odds this letter, battered by winds, water, and storms founds it way into the hands of someone who would cherish the love that went into writing it.
Excellent lyrical rhyming with a lilting rhythm to your sing-song message! It's almost as if your words are bouncing on the ripples of the ocean . . . good way to show instead of tell! I love the last stanza especially . . . nice sense of humor! Here's wishing you & your loved ones a very merry Christmas! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
love poetry since it has been embedded in my mind deeply way back when I was 4 years old. A very good reader in pre-school. Nursery rhymes tuned me in even deeper. more..
