beneath the Seas

beneath the Seas

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

O southern seas beneath my feet is just where I want to be
reaching down from above the sea canst be disturbed.
Publicly I'll be in my watery sea hidden down there
All is private under my island inside my wreck

Far north what floated, on was a note.
The wreckage took on waters too salty & weeded
It wasn't long for the wreckage drowned to the graveyard
sound of ships set in the beyond repair off
the coast of anywhere, sea sea at 40 feet deep

Oh, how dark and deep is the depth of a sea wild as can be
Wow, only the fish can see in the deep dark sea where
shipwrecks are bound and gagged.
And that note kept afloat looking for shore to rest ashore.

G'Mornin' Rocks. The coffee has taste and bite with the echo of sea notes and wavelets flowing by. Dark AND light dreams winding with the currents of your mind.

I liked the tone.

thanks very much sir Chris.
i love the sea ..and its deep mysteries ...i feel the pressures and almost despair of your speaker ... watery sea, wreckage, deep, down there, beyond repair ..all strong words that convey the darkness of the mood .. the flow is a little rough in places due to syntax me thinks .. the intrigue of "the note" captures my interest .. i want to know more ;)
