My Swing Thing

My Swing Thing

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

I love you.
I love to show you
what this love of mines
can do.
A love like mine, makes
little boy blue untie his
shoe. Just for my help.
Yelp, I love at any season.
My love is pleasing.
I can't help teasing.
This love is only for one
being.
I love to please the man
for me.
We can be out at sea.
Dry land. I'm not playing.
That's the kind of love in
me.
My love hits a man like
a bumble bee.
He's stung to my song.
The man longs for my
sweet of a girl's swing.
Wow, my man loves the
swing in my thing.

Thank you for the awesome playful original love poem! So many times, there are tons of love poems that all sound the same to me. But here you've taken your love message to a whole new place & it's full of surprising twists & bright imagery. Good use of word play with the sounds of words thru-out, making this sound fun as well as having a fun meaning (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

About
love poetry since it has been embedded in my mind deeply way back when I was 4 years old. A very good reader in pre-school. Nursery rhymes tuned me in even deeper. more..
