There's No Place Like HomeA Poem by ROXANE DORSEY
Such a lovely start to outdoors
to watch the beauty of it. One ladybird sitting on a fence. She never moved or even flinched. A mailman walked by, said "Hi'. A raccoon hopped in, only a friend. A farmer road through, not noticing you. Noon rolled in wit the sun a blaze'n over the earth. Mrs. Emley, too busy to see any. Little Missy, always throwing a fit, stop to see the pretty bird sit. The bird still set and set and set. To end her day, the ladybird prayed. As she sat to watch the neighborhood where she was moving her new family.
