Different SeasonsA Poem by ROXANE DORSEY
May the world never change it's blue.
When the night comes, it brings the
darkness upon the earth. Morning lights shall flicker on at the crack of dawn. Winter creeps back n forth over fall's shoulders. It wants in. Showing no slack to meet sir Jack. Jack Frost aims to freeze your needs. .....your toes, your nose, the foot even your looks. Thin sheets of ice sickles coats it subjects. Flash spells of steam billows out of city streets. The only comfort for a street walker in dead winter. As the extreme cold lingers on, at the crack of dawn, spring eases in to plant seeds and do good deeds. When the heat comes and you're sure to feel another hot steamy summer to harvest those seeds of ......fruits & vegetables at need. © 2017 ROXANE DORSEY |
