Bottle Minds

Bottle Minds

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

Living mentally in a bottle.
I must shatter the walls or
life will stall. In this glass
lies my past. Presently I'll
build up waste & gas to get
the needed blast. Screw the
cork loose with ease.  For I
can take the easy way out,
straight up no cuts or gusts
to waste.

this is good
we all live in glass some time in our life
we hide in glass some days
hoping no one willnotice us
but we are all goldfish in a bowl
on view for everyone to judge and see
it seems
good work

glad you like the poem. thanks for the review.
straight out...the only way...if we let the past bottle us up and we just take baby steps...the lid will keep closing on us.

Could the bottle be represented like the "circle of comfort" we tend to stay in ?
