Rainbows

Rainbows

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

Where the wind cease, never shall one see.
The earth is balanced between the sky &
me. It's axle, greased good n well.
Up there rainbows arch and end somewhere
Beneath its spectrum of color lies a pot of
gold.  Everyone was told.
Who found such luck?  Many got stuck
searching for that hidden buck.  They say
it's a treasure and really exist.
At the end of Dorothy's rainbow only her
dog, Toe-Toe, knows how the fairy tale
goes.
