Look To The SkyA Poem by ROXANE DORSEY
.....brilliant sky silently watches over the turning earth.
The choicest of color, sky blue. The rooster crows, I counted 6xs. Here comes the glorious sun. .....new season fall, fallen upon the land. Green leaves zig zag to the ground, crispy brown. Red roses sprout wit thorns. Hands off! Oh, such beauty to see. Quality is in it's smell-- hint of aroma releases in front me. For I stop, take a moment and simplify the smallest thing. My mind blanks, overwhelmed in the rose trap . .....senses cut short, without breathing, I'm caught in awe, such comfort. Warped in selfish time of mines Animals forage, rooming in open pastures. Impala's and bucking head deer are swift moving. Da moose is on the loose. Nature has a wonderful rough side. I can't fathom the food chain. The lion reign supreme, fearless. Mighty on 4's. Look to the sky, empty and no answer. I'm left to wonder......
