Sink'n Love

Sink'n Love

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

I can feel the light rain
falling upon my crying face.
Love stirred echos of pain
within the walls of my heart.
Torn in two, Oh how can my
heart mend?

I'm drowning in a tub of tears.
Love can drain the pain.
Hook'd a line then sink 'd her
is all he did.
His undeniable love kept me
sinking in lies.

I wanted love to reel me in
wit his bait of charm.
I meant no harm.
Just to claim what I feel is
real. You're meant for me.
A real life Queen.

About
love poetry since it has been embedded in my mind deeply way back when I was 4 years old. A very good reader in pre-school. Nursery rhymes tuned me in even deeper. more..
