Oriole Bird SingA Poem by ROXANE DORSEY
Come Oriole bird, flap your wings.
The sweet honey nectar satisfies your heart to sing. No words to read for a song from your dreams. No need to see, just listen to nature naturally sing. A caged bird never sings. Its mind is trap'd like a caucus needing to breathe. The lovely bird sings and glides for landing. Land on a cedar tree full with family. Your orange, black and white plumage holds true to a city called Baltimore. A city true to read, read and read. Drop in a book Oriole Byrd or stop in to sing. People, grown ups need to do the nicest thing. For little kids and teens are listen n watching. Come Oriole bird do your thing. Sing, sing and flap your wings. Flap, flap, flap Now soar while the sun is shining.
