Girls Cry

Girls Cry

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

Girls cry too.
My watery eyes burned as I struggled to hold back
the salty tears.
A broken heart suddenly took my mind by
surprise.  Re-occurring thoughts embark'd on my
brain waves.  Totally washing mental thoughts
and erasing age old memories.
Good times.
Fun in the hot sun.
Standing in the cold rain.
I couldn't help myself.
I had to cry.
Cry until I'm all cried out.

About
love poetry since it has been embedded in my mind deeply way back when I was 4 years old. A very good reader in pre-school. Nursery rhymes tuned me in even deeper. more..
