ATE EIGHT

ATE EIGHT

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

GENERATION AFTER GENERATION,
DNA PLUS FABRIC, THEY ARE:
STRONG JEANS WORN TO WORK IN AMERICA.
STRONG GENES PRODUCED IN DA GOOD OL'
U.S. OF OUR A.

FIELDS UPON DAYS OF THE FINEST FIELDS
WIT SEEDS, WATER & TIME,  "WA LA",  GROWTH!
FOOD MADE TO EAT.  ALL ATE.
FULL PLATES GOT ATE.
FULL TABLES OF EIGHT SAT AT A PLATE AND ATE.
THAT WAS JUST GREAT!

I invert the title words which would read eight ate. Food & People produce and reproduce rapidly here in our home Country of the USA.
