GOLD BLACK/BLACK GOLD MIRROREDA Poem by ROXANE DORSEYLOVING SELF
Why cover my darkness to suit your taste?
Look at my reflection. Every frowning stare, every defamed word aimed at me hurts within. All I want is to be loved and friends. I didn't choose my dark skin but I am able to win in the beautiful skin my soul is in. Man O' Man my gold black skin starts wit beauty from within & born for loving friends. © 2017 ROXANE DORSEY |
