A PURE TASTE OF HONEY

A PURE TASTE OF HONEY

A Poem by ROXANE DORSEY

My pure honey came from a bee.
Sweet as can be.
Not one bee, two or three but
thousands to pollinate your tree.

Perfume flowers lure the workers.
Each bee buzzes back and forth,
making sure the queen is rich in liquid
happiness.
No fussing, no fighting. Sticky work
fast as lightening.

Bees comes in swarms.  If provoked,
a black stinger you'll feel.  No
telling how many points will get you
Mother Nature doesn't pay to
taste her "B" juice!
Is the pain worth the pure taste
of Honey?

I love your original & uninhibited ways of looking at the lives of bees . . . while also presenting an allegory about this magical "B" juice . . . it could be mojo, or love, or spiritual intensity . . . I love how this describes that eternal question about finding the elixir that does the trick. Your bee business is humming on all levels (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

This is very nice. I love how you talk about nature and nurture very true to their form. This is a very good piece. Very original and true to yourself. I truly felt this and it hit me straight in the chest, but i still loved its message. Thank you for this extraordinary piece. You are a true artist.

Very nice use of words. Create visions and thoughts for the reader. I liked the question at the ending. Taste of honey is very tempting. Thank you Roxane for sharing the amazing poetry.
