Dark Shadows

Dark Shadows

A Poem by TTina

And now I know

Dark shadows on the wall

They are not powerful at all

They are crying all alone

Because they just miss their home

They keep coming back over and over again

To tell me a story about their land

To tell this story to their only friend

But I've learned we're all one silhouette

Now they are just a part of my mind only I have met

They are a part of my mind I’ll always secretly regret

But I love them - How I love them

I like the line "they are just a part of my mind only I have met" ....it shows how unique our memories are and how personal they are to us.

You are doing just fine with the differences in your language. Shadows will always be there as long as there is some kind of light. Yes, they can appear scary. Valentine

I kind of understand it, not fully. The end part I don't really understand, the how you love them part.
The dark shadows, would be evil right?
Wouldn't they represent depression, sadness and all that?
And you love them?
Just a little confused.
Though it was still a great piece :)
