Bird of Youth

Bird of Youth

A Poem by TTBoy28

Like as with a feather
tickle my tail that writes me
a pass out of despair
Long do I for the escape into
fairyland and serenity
As naked as that jaybird that sang
to court another
Pleasing as I am to the eye
that raises a side of me to the
sky
that the sun shines on gladly
and proudly
It glows
even after the patina settles
and it is on to the next
show
